Eligibility

The Echoing Green Fellowship selection process is highly competitive. In 2009, they received nearly 1000 applications for fourteen fellowships. Thus, the following tools will help you evaluate the eligibility and potential competitiveness of your application.

Find out if you qualify

  • Pre-Application Questionnaire – This survey walks you through the 21 key criteria for a successful Echoing Green application. At the conclusion, it will provide you with a personalized application audit.
  • Selection Criteria – A listing of Echoing Green’s standards for eligibility and competitiveness.
  • Partnership Guide – If you’re considering applying as a partnership (an organization led by two individuals), we recommend that you review the considerations discussed in this document.

Echoing Green welcomes applications from citizens of all countries. Yet, they also must comply with US work rules. Thus, if you are neither a citizen of the US nor in possession of US work authorization, your fellowship work must take place entirely outside the US.
