Participants will know the definition of labour market, the five major
forces that shape the labour market, 14 terms commonly used to describe
the labour market, how economic and other trends will affect the health
care sector.

Participants will understand how the Canadian health care system is
financed and administered, the roles of each level of government with
respect to health care, factors that affect health care spending.
- The Health Care Professions
Participants will have gained experience in discussing issues related
to the labour market for their profession.

Participants will understand how to conduct labour market research
on their own using libraries and/or the Internet.
