 Introduction
Interviews
TIME: 30 min.
LEARNING OUTCOME: Participants will have practised
presentation skills and have learned the names and backgrounds of others
in the workshop.
DESCRIPTION:
- Introduce yourself to the group.
- In making your introduction, try to employ skills of self-marketing
by emphasizing your strengths and articulating your goals clearly.
- Have participants pair up with the person beside them.
- Distribute the handout [#1] “INTRODUCTION INTERVIEW”
 — and
allow 10 minutes for pairs to interview each other.
- Have each partner introduce the other. Comment on the introductions
as needed.
When the introductions are complete, hand-out the Participant
Workbooks for
the workshop.
